Very innovative but could be so much better

This app is truly innovative. It does the same thing as my Stress Eraser -- a medical device costing $200 -- for a fraction of the cost. It works when you get the hang of it, but could really use more biofeedback, beyond the waveform. Some features Id like to see: * Sound feedback so you can close your eyes * Relaxing soundscapes and/or guided meditations * Spoken or written in-session encouragement and suggestions based on your performance, e.g. "Try slowing down your exhale" * More explanation on how to read the waveform Id be happy to pay extra for these features. Im giving it four stars for now with the hope that an update or pro version will come soon.

terrible

i have a stress eraser and it is so much better than this app. this app is very difficult because you need to put your finger on the camera lens of the phone camera while the flash is on! the flash gets hot and burns your finger. it is difficult to keep your finger on the camera for the recommended 5 minute minimum. it is not comfortable. the graphing interface is also very jumpy. interesting idea for an app but im going to stick with my stresseraser.

Not that accurate

Love the concept but my rate jumps all over the place. Does not seem accurate. Also, depending on which finger I use, I get a very different "score". That really questions the scientific credibility, huh? I guess some fingers are more stressed than others. :-)

Did Not Work

A bad app. After repeated attempts I could not get the wave to Anything like the pictures. Fast or slow breathing, different finger positions, reboots, nothing helped. The last straw was when I handed my iPhone to a friend and he had the same crap results. What a waste of money. The web site was no help at all.

Worked At First

I thought it was great when I first got it, but after like 2-3 weeks it became unreliable. There are long pauses and it simply doesnt work at all sometimes. This was an expensive app.

Love it

Really awesome App. I have been able to optimize my breathing……….for years! This device taught me when to hold and release my breath with the natural rhythm of my heartbeat. This has made a huge difference for me!

Good so far

Works fine on my iPod touch 5th gen. Its fun trying to get yingyang signs. Surprisingly effective way of getting the heart rate, appears to be very sensitive. The app is basic but has everything needed to measure and guide HRV.

Won’t Download

This app is stuck on download. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, but it won’t compete the download. Bummer. I was really hoping to try this.

Doesnt work

I cant get those nice hills and valleys in the video, and the app freezes and has to be downloaded & reinstalled when the video finishes playing. No serenity here.

Excellent app!

This app is the only way Ive found that works to learn how to meditate! Congrats to the developer.

Poor interface

This app exaggerates its capabilities, but does have functional bio feedback. Would not recommend as a stress reducing app.

App keeps crashing

When I first got the app it worked fine but lately it just crashes. Not sure whats going on even after I deleted and downloaded again it still kept crashing.

Confusing

Lots of pauses in my session despite me not moving my finger at all...not sure when Im supposed to breathe in or out, no assessment at the end to tell me what I did right or wrong, and what are the numbers next to the top and bottom hearts indicating? Needs work.

Cant Get it to Work

I cant get it to work. It played the instructions once and then quit. You cant get it to do what the instructions said was going to happen. A total waste. Heart Math is probably a better bet.

DONT DO IT!!

Zero stars!!! Doesnt work at all! App keeps bumping me out when I try to use it. After instructional video, NOTHING!! That was a big waste of $5.

Unreliable, no support

Cannot achieve the desired results, the app seems very unreliable. Followed instructions carefully and practiced multiple times. This just doesn’t seem to work with iPhone 6. No support or even mention of it on the developer’s site. Don’t buy this.

Awesome but wont open any more

I used to love using this app but for a while now it just wont open, even from the App Store and I have also tried deleting and downloading. I have a 5S with up to date software. Could this bug please be fixed?
